We are on the ground floor of the historic Southwestern Telegraph & Telephone Building on corner of Church and 22nd St (Kempner St).
The Telephone Building was built in 1896 and is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. The building is a four-story masonry commercial structure built under the supervision of architect Alfred Muller in a Romanesque Revival Style. Muller was a major architect in Galveston in the late 19th century.

Retail stylist, singer, actor, model, & wellness instructor - Bob has worn many hats over the years!
A native Houstonian and U of H alumnus, Bob’s early career began in Petroleum Land Management. However, he soon felt an undeniable pull to the vibrant world of fashion and stage.
Following his heart, Bob has dedicated his life to bringing joy to others through style, fitness, and the performing arts.
Early in his career, Bob embraced the fast-paced life of acting and modeling, starring in professional print and video commercials. For over 30 years, he’s been a fitness instructor at The Houstonian Club, where his core focus has been helping others achieve their fitness and wellness goals.
Bob’s true passion lies in entertaining and bringing smiles to music audiences far and wide. In 2006, he joined the Richard Brown Orchestra, where his sweet-sounding voice and movie-star looks have been dazzling crowds ever since.
After Hurricane Ike, Bob and his partner FOUND a perfect spot to bring fashion and style to the island. Luna Home + Gifts began as a 1,500-square-foot shop and quickly became a destination for locals and travelers seeking one-of-a-kind decorative objects and fashions. Recently, Bob and his partner doubled their showroom space by acquiring the remaining ground floor of the building, realizing their vision for a truly unrivaled destination of visual delights.

Dedicated and endlessly motivated, he brings his passion for color, texture, and thoughtful design to every corner of the shop.
His specialty? Creating magical window displays that stop passersby in their tracks and bring a little joy to even the most hurried shoppers.

His eye for design is matched only by his deep knowLedge of trends - OLD and new. Whether you’re drawn to timeless classics or looking to try something bold, Roy is always ready to help you discover your style.
But Roy’s talents don’t stop at aesthetics. He’s a pro when it comes to store operations and inventory management. As a natural leader, he’s built a stellar sales team focused on delivering top-tier customer service every single day.
